Big Easy Bistro

I have been here about 6 times before and after the name changed from NOLA. I'm from the French quarter. I normally sit right across from the kitchen to be eyes and ears. I've seen a guy not sure if he's the owner walk around and speak to everyone Every time I've come even make sure that the orders are ok he isn't from New Orleans I believe he said he is from California and NOLA is his second home the last time I've come...oddly he has NEVER EVER spoken to me. Not too sure if I look like a kid to him or not although I'm a paying customer...but where I'm from its offensive to speak to all except 1. He has literally looked right at me 3 times of the 6 I've been in. The other 3 times I didn't come in i ordered for my crew at the refinery, but thinking to myself it would be odd if I brought my crew in being that they are guys and I'm the only small one plus a Lady and he spoke to them and not me. I've spent almost 1 thousand in total for all 9 times combined. In general nice cozy place, good flavor, needs more kick but I always bring my own. Nice vibe I suppose the staff is always coo beside California

Stopped with my team for a meeting over lunch. Nice place with great music playing. The service was fast and the food was fresh and hot. I had the spicy catfish basket. The fish was crisp and moist but not particularly spicy. Overall, a good meal for a reasonable price. We will be back.

The staff at Big Easy Bistro were supper accommodating with my restricted diet. I got the strawberry salad with out the chicken. I was unaware there was cheese and they gladly remade it for me and then I ran across bacon and they were troopers remaking my salad for the third time. Most people would have given me attitude but they were super polite about it so I’m thankful!!!

Good food and friendly people. Needs to have a better sign in order to locate the business. I would definitely return.
