Food quality, taste, variation and Atmosphere was all great so I gave 5 stars on those and I will definitely come back to try other items. Portion were small of the price but the flavors compensate for that.
The only side of business I would be giving 3 stars for is the Service. It wasn't all terrible but there's definitely room for improvement. I believe the employees were not intentionally trying to be rude but the owner do need to invest on the employee training especially those that are dealing with guests in person and the one handling responses here on social media, if you don't have anything good to say, it's better to stay quiet. Arguing with customers is never a good idea. I understand it's a new business and negative comments can impact your rating but your responses are making people drop theirs from 3 stars to 1 star.
For us my biggest issue was that we had to continue to seek the attention of servers and when there was a 40 minute wait between last appetizer and the main entre' then one of the server's response was kind of condescending as she sounded like it was our fault.
Again I would recommend everyone to try them at least once with the hope that they learn from their mistakes. I would hate for such a flavorful restaurant to go down because of service.

I'm hesitant to put up this review bc I love love love this place and don't want it to get popular and busy.

    Parking: ample.
Decor: Lovely, simple, clean, authentic, modern
    Seating: ample, comfortable, no wait.
Service: knowledgeable, pleasant, courteous without being OVER friendly. The owners were able to share the story of the place without impeding the progress of the meal.
Food: delicious! We ordered like 5 appetizers and each one was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Everything had a crispy outside, warm soft interior: the chicken wings, the 2 orders of lollipops, the Momo's, the wontons.... Perfect. Nothing was too spicy or too salty. We also got the hot, garlic beef with white rice and chicken chop suey? Perfect.
Cons: I felt the lemonades were a little too sweet for my taste, but the kids loved them. I also had a ginger chai which was amazing.

I went there on Saturday and planned 2 more return trips. It's going to be my go to spot for visitors and party catering. When they start doing alcohol, I will probably be there weekly. If they start doing espresso drinks, I'm moving in.

Had a lovely birthday dinner here! Food was delicious. The Hakka chow mein is kid friendly. We loved that we could ask for no MSG and they didn’t add it to our food. My elderly mother in law due to health reasons can’t have MSG and we were so appreciative that the restaurant makes their food fresh in order to accommodate this request.

Great to see they’re expanding outside of NYC. The food was amazing. We got chicken lollipops, tangra masala fish fingers, tangra masala noodles and fried rice. The soups are also really delicious with crispy noodles.

Went to try Tangra’s Daughter soft opening for their lunch specials and was really pleasantly surprised. Really delicious Desi Chinese!! I tried the chili chicken, hot and sour soup, general Tso chicken, momos and Thai tea. They were all had a flavor I didn’t know I was missing in my life! So glad they came to Houston and excited to try their regular menu next time for their Thai soup, chicken lollipop and Tangra special noodles! My son and I couldn’t finish our food because it was good size portion for lunch, so we took home leftovers.

It was a little on the pricier end for the drinks and apps but def worth it. The lunch special is great because that’s $12.95 and comes with soup, egg roll and selected entree dishes. I can’t wait to go back and try the dinner menu!
