Went to Clancy's on a Sunday afternoon to try it out. Madison was a wonderful server and helped me out with the best things on the menu. Definitely check out the Irish classics. I had the Corned Beef and Cabbage. It was well done and very fresh and had the home cooked or pub style to it with fresh carrots and Irish gold potatoes. A definite place to make regular visits to. Loved it so much I ordered some Irish stew to take home for dinner. Great place to eat wish I didn't have to drive cause I would have probably loved the drinks too. Thank you Madison.
Clancy's is a bit of a local treasure. Locally owned, good service, good beer selection, and the food never disappoints. We visit at least once a month and often try the off menu special.
I am absolutely confident giving my full recommendation to any and all those wondering if they should try Clancy's Public House! This establishment has something for everyone to fall in love with!
Clancy's is a local family owned and run business, which is almost palpable as soon as you enter the building. With staff that are all friendly, personable, and hard-working you'll feel right at home here. They frequently host live up and coming local musicians and other fun things for every member of the family!
What really sold me on Clancy's (besides the good food, master crafted bar drinks, live music, friendly staff, ect..) was their involvement in the local community. My first experience at Clancy's was during a fundraiser where they hosted benefiting a non profit dog rescue/charity Houston's Huts4mutts. I came for the dogs but fell in love with their shepherd's pie!
Since then I have been coming regularly as I try my way through the menu and it's all good! Even if you have an issue with your food, the kitchen is always happy to do whatever they can so you can enjoy your food.
All in all I think it's well worth your while to at least try Clancy's Public House, I did and I found Richmond's true hidden gem.
Seriously cool neighborhood Pub. Surprisingly kid and family friendly unlike any in the area. My 8 year old daughters favorite place to go. Addictive menu that covers all courses. A jillion types of beer they know well, so they are helpful in making a choice when I want to try something new. Great experience every time. No pictures of my food cause I ate it all.
