Another Time Soda Fountain & Cafe

This place really takes you back in time. With all the photos on the wall and cool things to look at it makes you put your phone down and enjoy the moment.

The staff is really friendly and will make a good recommendation big you ask. The Coke float is awesome. The food is good and takes fresh. I had the burger and it was definitely filling.

When we left the waitress even gave us a box of pastries from the bakery next door.

Great place for a first date or a place to bring the family.

Very cute & quaint old-timey sofa fountain with a full, hot menu in addition to the made-to-order ice cream concoctions & soda fountain delights! Reminiscent of the many "lunch counters" of my youth, including the one that was inside our full-service (not a chain) pharmacy! The prices, however, are definitely NOT nostalgic! For 1 cheeseburger plate, 2 sodas (nothing fancy, just fountain soft drinks), 1 water with lemon & 1 ice cream float, the check was $35.++! A bit excessive, imho, and that was 3-4 years ago! This is the reason for my 2-star deduction, as well as the reason that I haven't been back here, despite the darling atmosphere & the tasty creamy treats (the burger plate was only so-so) served! You'll have a good time here at Another Time, so long as you're ready for the 21st century prices! What a shame for the Main Street Program in Historic Downtown Rosenberg, as those prices will drive away more people than will be lured here by the nostalgic theme!

I come here mainly for the old fashion drinks. You want a killer Milkshake or Malt? This is the place. How about a fresh made Vanilla Dr. Pepper, or a Phosphate? Don't get me wrong, the food is good, it's homemade fashion. But I come for the drinks and desserts. Kids love it too.

Always love this place. Their chicken salad sandwich and milkshakes are ????. Its got great southern old-place kinda vibes. Great service and nice people.

The food is simply incredible! The service is impeccable! If there was only one thing I would change about this restaurant, it would be maybe the noise level. It isn't awful, just echoes because it's an old building with brick and plaster walls. But the food is outstanding. They have burgers and fries that are completely delicious, or a shrimp and fish platter that's oh my goodness yummy. They have a strawberry salad that's just beautiful! Anyway, give it a shot. Seat yourself, try the daily specials!
