    If you’re in Mt Vernon this is a must! Chicken fry, burger, Reuben, or chicken and waffles - you can’t go wrong. And the dessert...chocolate cream pie was the best ever.

    Only been in 2-3 times in the last 4 months but every time we have gone the food is ALWAYS on point- My husband is a Chicken Fried Steak guru and he says by far the BEST he has ever had- Even better then his own grandmothers. And you can easily make 2 meals out of it! HUGE portion! I have had the burger with homemade buns and the meatloaf with fresh out of their garden peas. Yumm! You do not want to pass this place up! Highly recommend!
