Sam's Restaurant

By fer the best buffet that I've had. It mixes home cooking with fast and friendly service. I come here every chance I get that I'm in the area.

I love this place and stop here almost every time I come through. Best of all they have a parking area for trucks and bigger motorhomes. Just be careful driving through there though, there are some pretty deep potholes as the lot is a gravel lot.

Their buffet is spectacular!!! They serve fried chicken, chicken fried steak, fried catfish with cornicopius of vegetables & a variety of salads. Sam's also serve awesome pies, cakes, & ice cream! My favorite is the coconut cream pie! Just like my mom use to make. You can also order off their menu. Their motto is true "If you leave her hungry, it's your fault!"

Highly Recommended. This is an exceptionally fine Restaurant with a Fully Stocked buffet bar. Good Old Fashioned down home cooking with fantastic flavor. Always the best place to stop on our way to Dallas from Houston! The buffet is DELICIOUS, the staff is so nice, the restrooms are so clean, and the little shop is so cute! I love to buy wax melts and little gifts from the shop. They get me every time! If you haven't been, you need to stop! It's well worth it!
