We stopped at this little diner on our way to the coast for out cruise! The staff was beyond friendly and conversational. The food was quick and delicious! The portions are huge for the value! We will definitely be stopping by again on our next road trip!
Ponte's Diner never fails to disappoint. Solid, quality American cuisine. Large menu of options. Attentive but not annoying wait staff. Good old comfort food. Yum.
Very good diner with great variety. Enchiladas with sour cream sauce and charro beans are really good and the fried fish dinner(catfish) is fantastic
Good food great people and decent prices.
The service is sometimes a little slow, but always packed. Good Tex-Mex food and burgers just a good little diner.
Nice diner with very friendly server. Coffee was fresh and plentiful. Food prices were a little high for a small town. I ordered the daily lunch special a little after 11am and my husband's breakfast food was served and he had finished before my chicken and dumplings we're served. In the meantime three tables of local guys were seated and served and one table finished and left before I got my food. My special was over $8 and the main course was served in a small bowl that held about a cup. The sides I ordered were sliced tomatoes and cobbler. I had hoped since it was a small town the tomatoes would have been local but alas they had no flavor so I didn't eat them. The other side was peach cobbler. I appreciated being able to have a dessert as one included side dish. But it was in a tiny bowl and all of three bites. We had planned it to be a quick stop to eat on the way home but it took a lot longer than expected. They could improve on some things. We'll stop there again next time we travel that way to see what's changed. ????
