Jose's Cantina Restaurant

A quick stop for quick lunch before we headed to Houston. Nice and friendly atmosphere. I wasn't hungry, so I ordered a small bowl of etouffee. My boyfriend ordered the crab cakes which was wonderful.

Make sure to salt and pepper your fries because they don't! But the rest was fabulous! :)

I love the new place! The food was phenomenal!! The red sauce and chips were the best I've ever had! My dinner was made with love and care! The wait staff was really nice and fast! Handsdown the best restaurant on the Peninsula and Chambers County! Go to Jose's, but save a spot for me!

Food was good, and service from our waitress was great, but we could not enjoy our meal because the hostess (elderly Caucasian female, we didn't get her name) was gossiping the ENTIRE TIME we were there with a customer at their table. We heard the customer complain about her service to the hostess and instead of trying to calm down the frustrated customer, she began insulting other employees and ended up spending over half an hour complaining with the customer. It was completely unprofessional.
