Flippers Coastal Seafood

I came here for the crawfish since the season's coming to an end and I heard they were good here. They lived up to the hype and then some!
Our server (Alonzo, I believe) was very friendly and helpful. Actually, every team member I encountered here was friendly.
My only issue was that it's a bit cramped inside (granted you can usually opt to dine outside, but some people in my party didn't want to.)
I definitely recommend this place!

An awesome place....our favorite in this area. The food is great with great gumbo and the best cornbread ever. The sevice is excellent. We are always made to feel at home here.

This is our go to place when hungry.

I’ve been to flippers several times twice this week and I must say I’m blown away every single time! Going above and beyond is an understatement! The food is DELICIOUS of course! But let’s get into this amazing hospitality and customer service I’ve dined in the finest of restaurants and never received this type of attention and care! I’ve had all my co-workers and family head over to flippers and they were also blown away! Keep up the great work guys I’ll definitely be back!

I really love this restaurant. They have the best seafood to me. Large oysters, large shrimp, fryed and seasoned just right. The people are nice and hospitable. Nice mix of guests. Just loved it. Highly recommend this place.

We ate at Flippers Friday evening at about 7. This was our first visit. I want say up front that the food was very good, and our server, Marquis, was courteous ans cheerful. He provided great service. It was very busy when we arrived - the line was out the door. But there was nobody taking names, so it was kind of chaotic. They should put up a chalk board or a kiosk so people can sign in and see how many parties are ahead of them. The beer selection was poor - The only "local" brew they had was Shiner Bock, but they were out of that. How can a seafood place run out of Shiner on a Friday night? That is not good! They need to manage their inventory better, and also add a few local favorites from Saint Arnold's and Galveston Brewing. If they can get their beer inventory and customer logistics fixed, Flippers will be 5 stars. As it is, they get 3.
