Forget all the other Italian restaurants. This is the one to go to. I'm a recent convert, head over heals in love, and ready for an exclusive relationship.
I normally eat only plants, but everyone I was with ate meat dishes and they looked wonderful. Everyone was impressed and left happy.
I loved their cucumber salad which was dosed with a delicious balsamic vinegar dressing that I've never had anywhere else. I even let them serve it with the Feta cheese which I usually don't eat and it was piled high with the best Feta. My daughter got as much Feta as she liked before I dug in. Crisp cucumbers, kalmata olives, etc: what a crunchy treat. I also had the spaghetti with marinara sauce. Absolutely wonderful, I'm in heaven.
The prices are very reasonable. My Italian grandmother probably couldn't make anything better, at the same prices. In fact, if she comes to visit, I'd take her here.
Very quaint, good food and service. Waitress was very good about pointing out the good things on the menu. The only thing I have complaint about was the salad, although the dressings we're good it was just a bagged lettuce salad. They could improve on this. Overall very good
Always an awesome experience, Gina's offers some amazing upscale italian at great prices.
The restaurant is clean, modern and cozy. Food service doesn't take too long and the wine selection is off the charts!
Every meal comes with home cooked bread and a dip which tastes awesome.
Take out takes about 15-20 minutes so you may want to call ahead unless you plan to sit at the bar and watch TV.
Excellent pasta, very gracious and genuine service. The short rib tortellini was incredible. Lost a star over the wine list I'm afraid... lots of classics from the $10 and under section at HEB, and when we did find a more interesting bottle they were out of it. They were very pleasant about finding an alternative though. Can't say enough about how nice the staff were
