Sonny's Place

Dear customers of sonny,
U are probably trying to find a place to eat and came across Sonny’s. It is the best restaurant in my option that I have ever eaten at. It has the best American style food (traditional) that I have tasted. I am a food conesseur. I have traveled the world and the only place that has even come close to to Sonny’s is a small restaurant in China called chin’s. The service in the place is spectacular. I was never waited to be served. They checked on me a lot but they respected me when I was eating and when I was praying. The only problem in my option of this amazing place is the appearance. It does not look like the place that I have described. The quality of the service and food is not an accurate representation of the outside. The outside is infact quite bad. It looks like a place that u would just drive by and not eat at. But I am telling you please go in and your life will be changed just like mine has been. Thank you for reading this.

Always very accomodating. Staff is always friendly. Food is excellent no matter what you get. Fried shrimp is awesome as well as any of the burgers.

Muffalata has spoiled me for any other. The bread, olive dressing, melted cheese and meats explode with taste. Definitely order toasted. Get the raw oysters when they have. Hurry. Season almost over. They are enormous and tasty. Great bar and grill.

My husband wanted to introduce me to one of his old hang-outs when he lived here - he parks close to a small building/house with no windows - are you kidding me? Folks, the best food I've had in Texas of the American fare, cool/old fashion decor (which often is better than modern), nice staff. Instead of complaining at the onset, next time I'll simply follow hubby! Highly recommend

Love, love, love this place! We really enjoyed the local flavor and personality. The fried oysters and muffaletta were delicious!! The best part of our visit was talking with Lawrence and his son, the owners of the restaurant.
