Crazy Alan's Swamp Shack

This place used to have the $20.00 all you can eat seafood pot, it still on the menu. Food was good, waiter developed an attitude after being questioned about the different prices on the menus. The manager Drew was awesome he calmed the situation down, and managed to understand the customers confusion. Let me tell you the crawfish was really good, the gumbo had quite a bit of rice with limited meat. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Have visited twice. First time was perfect and received excellent service. Second visit our waitress seemed overwhelmed by a large group she was also serving and our service was poor. Had difficult time just getting a water refill. Food was still excellent, though it did not come out all at once.

Will still return, but hopefully the second visit was just an unusual night.

I told the waitress to surprise me with a chicken dish. She brought me Blackened Chicken Pontchartrain with seasoned rice and veggies. It was amazing. I think I let out a sigh of happiness with each bite.
I also ordered the bread pudding for dessert. I think this is the best bread pudding I have ever eaten in a restaurant. The sauces on top were out of this world.
Kimberly was my waitress and she was on it. Friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, seemed to enjoy her job and kept checking in on me. I will definitely be back whenever I'm in the area.

Food was great, our waiter was on point. The place is alive with good music, & hospitality. Most places you get what u pay for. Pricing here can be fairly over. But we did plenty of reviewing calling and asking questions you'll see it sometimes when you want good food then just pay for it. No doubt why we keep coming back.
