    We have a similar shop back home so I wasn't swayed by the $0.87 per ounce spiel. With 5 kids, I still spent about $50 on candy but it's still good for sampling a few new things. Red hots and soda flavored Jelly Bellies were my favorite. I refuse to try scorpion lollipops. #crazy

    I don't always go to the Kemah Boardwalk, but when I do, I visit the candy shop! Selection is large. Prices are a bit steep but that's to be expected at any shop like this. Bulk chocolate, bulk sour, bulk hard candy. Candy you've never heard of or haven't had since you were a little kid. It's also a nice place to cool off.

    The facility was very nice and finely decorated. I enjoyed the presentation, but the bags and tin filling was a scam. They price it by ounce on the tin with a first time charge. There was no scale for them though.
    The woman working there was quite rude, but I do understand where she was coming from. I don't feel as though she was terrible.
    Overall I found it okay, but would not recommend.
