I like the feel of this place. It seems that it is turning into a chain like all the rest and I hope it doesn't loose it's country feel. They had a fire going with real wood . Lol. You don't see that very often. Service was exceptional!!!!! I had the corned beef and cabbage as it was St. Patrick's day. The meat was great but the cabbage could do with a bit more flavor and a lager helping. Good job for doing something not ordinarily on the menu.
Love going to Cracker Barrel, just have slow down and not be in a hurry. Great place sit and relax and visit with friends. Breakfast was very good and this is the only time I actually eat grits. The service was good and somewhat faster than other Cracker Barrels I have been to. Bathroom was clean.
Trying to go no carbs was not my best option here. Opted for an ham and cheese omelette that wasn't on the menu and was disappointed. Then ordered a side of bacon and sausage. Didn't check price and had sticker shock at the end. Service was great. Just didn't need to spend $38 for 2 at breakfast
You cant go wrong with cracker barrels chicken and dumplings. The hashbrowns casserole is also delicious here. It is always fun to look around while you are waiting for a table, so the wait never feels that long. The store has some really neat stuff in it. The wait for food never seems too long either with the fun game at the table!
Super friendly staff. Decent food. But just like many chain restaurants, you go for the consistency. As far as a Cracker Barrel goes, this is one of the better ones I've been to, but it's still cracker barrel. So just above cafeteria quality food in my opinion but it's nice when driving through town.
