San Lorenzo Taqueria

I've been to the Taqueria enough times to no longer need the menu. I have a regular table and a regular server who pretty much knows my order. If it's Monday, Wednesday or Friday then I'm going with a full order of the San Lo nachos, mixed beef and chicken. Tuesdays and Thursdays I'll do a half order, but I ask them to surprise me on the meat. I just trust them that much. The queso is divine, and you can try it either with pickled jalapenos or fresh cut. If I'm feeling sassy then I do the pickled ones, but if I'm in a spicy mood then it's just got to be the fresh sliced. Everything else in the menu is just as good as the nachos, in case you were wondering. Maybe I'll see you there....

Rosie is the best waitress and I've been coming here for twelve years and it is amazing the food is bursting with flavor my mouth is watering just thinking about it!

Quiet and Delicious! We were looking for a quiet place to enjoy Tex-Mex and conversation - San Lorenzo was a great choice! We we're greeted and seated with a basket of tasty tortilla chips, house salsa & sliced jalapenos. The shredded chicken tostadas were exactly as I requested. The ground beef soft tacos perfect. We will return! Looking forward to sampling their breakfast menu offerings.

Our favorite place for years. Best house frozen margarita you can find. Their chips are the thin type as we prefer. Pretty much had everything on their menu but fajitas tend to be my choice. Enchiladas are always great too. Staff knows us well enough bringing our drinks as they greet us. We prefer the smaller original location, cozy and familiar.

San Lorenzo's is our favorite little hole-in-the-wall restaurant we like the older one by South Shore Boulevard. The staff is always incredible and the fajitas and enchiladas are marvelous. I have never found a better Margarita than what they consistently serve here over 23 years!
