First time going, made reservations for two the day before and received the worst table they have to offer. Next to the door that everyone uses to exit to the patio. People constantly in and out with cold air blowing on us. Service was pretty good, we waited almost 10 minutes for our server to take our drink order. They were super busy and our server could have used more help. The oysters and the drinks are top notch. We also had the banana coconut mousse which was kind of bland. Couldn’t really taste the coconut or banana. Overall, we thought everything was pretty good and will be back. Hopefully we can get a better seat next time. I think the prices are excellent for type of food and atmosphere you receive. Can’t wait until the dock is finished. Going by boat would be excellent!

The seasoning and quality are top notch. Service was a new guy, I get it, but no supervision. Tuna was requested well done, came out rare. Chicken was not cooked fully. That is very basic. He did not stop by enough, that comes with experience. Awesome facility. Do some tweaking and it will be very very good.

The food and decor is good. Beer is $6. Most of the food portion sizes are small and overpriced but very tasty. Cocktails are between 10 and $14. They put a lot of ice in most of them. They are tasty but very light on the alcohol.
Overall I think they need to make their drinks better, lower the prices, have a happy hour and definitely serve bread; especially since they're given small portion sizes on most of the food. I'm a local who eats out a lot. I hope these changes are made.

Beautiful restaurant, gorgeous views, fantastic food! My husband and I enjoyed a beautiful dinner to celebrate his birthday, and we will definitely be back. Everything we had was wonderful, and there are plenty more choices to try on the menu. The cocktails were unique without being gimmicky, and very well made. Our only complaint is something completely fixable, so I wanted to let the owner/management know. Our server was well intentioned, but really needs more training. The poor girl wandered a bit aimlessly and made some faux pas - like trying to clear our plate before we were finished with the delicious seafood, not asking if we'd like another drink or coffee. But we had to ask for napkins when our appetizers were brought out. That didn't seem to clue her to the fact we had no utensils. When our entree was served (we told her we would be sharing) an extra plate would have been nice. But we had to ask three times for forks. The fish was excellent and we will order again, but I suspect it would have been even better when it was first delivered to our table. Not a criticism, but a critique for additional training. Beautiful facility overall!

Pier 6 is truly one of a kind and like nothing else in the area. You feel like you’re at a trendy Houston spot or even at one of the fun restaurants in South Beach! Panoramic views of Galveston Bay, full indoor and outdoor bar, plenty of TVs to catch the games, top notch food dishes from an amazing executive chef, and a specialty drink menu that you could choose from blind folded and love it!! You feel like you should photograph everything you order.. it’s that pretty!! Can’t WAIT for the brunch menu and for the marina to be finished to watch all the fancy boats pull up ?

Top 3 favorite drinks: Spicy Rita, Green Parrot, and the Frozen Watermelon Slush

Top 3 food items: prestige grilled oysters, Chicken Dish, and the crispy red snapper
