Big Phil’s Soul & Creole Cafe

I visited this establishment on yesterday and was highly impressed! The food was well seasoned, the portions were perfect, and the staff was phenomenal! This place has the winning combination…great food and great service!! You can’t lose there. I can’t wait to come back for one of the live entertainment nights! Thank you Big Phil’s for making my first visit a pleasant one!!

The waiting staff seemed overwhelmed. Started off inattentive. The gumbo came out cold for a member in our party. The greens tasted like vinegar. The sodas came out flat with little to no ice. Various menu items were unavailable. Overall taste was not pleasurable. Had high Hope, but unfortunately the mark was missed. Very beautiful venue.

I am originally from La Marque. Was in town and stopped there and got a meal with the wifey the food was excellent. There was a DJ and a very cool and relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely go again.
