This was an amazing experience. I got to sample every beer they have for $10. Loved all but 1. My favorite was the IPA, the Pioneer Porter; it starts off tasting real bitter and the next thing your pallets adjust and it tastes almost sweet. The bartender was really nice as well.
The food was good, the selection was even better! Classic German comfort food with classic American food. We went on a busy Saturday afternoon, but was still served promptly. However, the desert I got of the peach cobbler was great! However, I think you may have left it in the oven, or the microwave way too long, the waitress should have told me that it was possible to burn yourself. The pretzel dessert was a good pretzel however, if you're going to have cinnamon and sugar as per the ingredients state, please do so. Otherwise in that, a rather great experience!
Dinner was average. On the good side -my steak was cooked correctly. But it was very tough. It took forever to get our bill. The waiter asked if everything was okay and we told him we were ready to leave. We waited 15 minutes and our bill did not arrive so we walked to the cashier. Then the waiter hadn't given us the credit for a free beer because we were staying in their hotel room for a couple nights. The waiter actually argued with us! The room we stayed in was okay but lacked a couple things we are used to like a microwave and fridge. Guess we were expected to buy all food and beverage from the brewery. We won't go back and don't recommend it to anyone else.
Great brewery in with a fantastic location. Try the cherry porter if you get a chance because it's maybe the best thing on the menu. Carlos is a great team member and you should ask for his awesome services. Even if you don't like beer, stop by here for a bite.
The beers were good! We had the sampliers of the beers which were pretty good, some better then the others. Our waitress was alright, it was busy, but, we had to keep getting her attention for anything we wanted including water. We had the spicy fried pickles. They were alright, a bit too spicy for me. Hubby loved them. We came many years ago and things were great then, not so much anymore.
