Jennie's Smoked Burgers and Tornado Fries

Burger is great. A little pricey. $6.50 for just burger, +$2.25 for bacon, +$2.50 tornado fries, +$2.00 medium drink. So, $11.25 for burger "combo" and $13.25 for "combo and a drink. (Before tax) The meat patty is a little thin (imo) for the price and I was a little disappointed when I first saw the order, but the taste slowly won me over as I ate. Probably not somewhere I would visit once or twice a week, but a great option when you are in the mood.

Absolutely fantastic yet simple burgers. They have great seasoning in addition to the smoke flavor, rather thin and eat-able compared to Burger Burger’s giant unwieldy burger patties. This place has fresh veggies and cold drinks and decent shakes (only tried the chocolate).
The employees I encountered were very friendly and helpful and patient. 5 stars easily.

The burgers were juicy, especially the double patties cheese burger. I was so hungry I forgot to ask for the tornado fries. Definitely will be back to eat the burger and try the tornado fries. Nice atmosphere outside where we can bring our fur babies and still enjoy Fredericksburg. Definitely a must try while in the hill country.

Prices are very reasonable for the great hamburger. We had ordered 2 cheeseburgers with the tornado fries. When we received it, they failed to add the cheese. We informed them of the burgers ,not having cheese on them. He took our burgers up and made fresh burgers and fresh tornado fries. They went out of their way, to ensure that our order was correct and that they made their best effort to make sure that we were happy with our order. These folks seemed truly genuine in taking care of their customers. Needless to say, their burgers were great! Great place to get a quick bite from a day of shopping.

Great tasting burgers. This place gets busy so, you may not he able to sit inside. Unlike many places with a line, Jennies is worth the wait. Be careful with the soft drink choices- they have the Maine Root Ginger soda. It will announce itself to your tastebuds. If you have chapped lips there is no shame in passing on the Ginger Dew.
