    One of the more popular wildflower drives in the Texas hill country. Best time is April & May. Loop is 22 miles, 6 of these are on Tx Hwy 16. The Willow City Loop road itself is 13 miles long. We bicycled the entire loop. If you are cycling, advise you turn around at mile 11 or 12, return to Willow City, and have a beer under the shade trees at Harry's beer joint. Tx 16 has narrow shoulders, tons of high speed traffic, and is uphill for 4 out of 6 miles if you are going south. Enjoy!
