We ate lunch and it wasn't very busy. I think it was mostly locals. During Spring Break it was shocking to see very few customers. They were out of sliced onions which was strange for a BBQ place. The brisket was a little tough and the sausage was dry. The line servers were helpful and friendly though. Very typical smokehouse BBQ environment for an old town.

I love hole in the wall, down home places. I’ll go out of my way to try them! Wish I could give it a higher rating. The locals told me it is the best. I did come at the end of the day, 5:30 pm which is around dinner time. I had a 2 meat dinner, Sausage and Lamb ribs instead of brisket because they were out of brisket. The lamb was dry and chewy. Potato salad, good. Mac and cheese, ate half of it. Did not enjoy my meal, maybe next time.

We were craving some good Bar B Que and decided to give this place a try! They did NOT disappoint! Everything was delicious and customer service was on point! Will definitely return when in the area.

Great food, excellent service and a hidden gem. The experience was worth the drive and the prices are some of the most reasonable in a 100 mile radius. The sausage was amazing and unique. The brisket was tender and flavorful. The ribs had a great flavor. I had enough to bring, warm up in the oven and relive all over again. Even the sides you couldn't complain about. I'm picky about my Mac and cheese and potato salad and it was dead on. The surprise hit was the cheesy potatoes. I'm upset it took me over ten years to finally hit up this gem. Don't let it take you this long.
