El Tapatio Cafe & Cantina

We were greeted almost immediately and seated. The menu has a translation section which is great because the names of the meal is in Spanish while the description is in English. The service is very quick. The food tastes homemade not pre bought in a box or the frozen. The queso was a bit thin in my opinion but very good. Salsa has the right amount of spice. I will be back. Prices are average for a sit down restaurant. I spent less than $40 for 2 of us including tip. Only 4 stars because the shredded cheese tasted a bit sour to me.

The food is great and they have good portions, the staff is wonderful as well. My wife and I eat here often and have always enjoyed it.

Okay we've been to this restaurant twice the first occasion a very special one, the food was good the server mediocre.
The second occasion the food was good nice, and enjoyed the other choices of the menu variety, had the same server.
It doesn't seem as though the server has ever been a customer at a Restaurant where the service was excellent.
The server or waitress needs more training.

I've been here several times and have always found the service excellent, the food abundant and well-prepared, the menu extensive, and the price right. Good value at a good restaurant.
