“I go through phases where I will purchase a few times a month to once every few months. Most of it is budget considerations. I prefer to either call ahead with an order or order online and then pick it up from the restaurant. I enjoy their food, not sure how they can accommodate such a wide selection. I think it's pretty reasonably priced. I do wish that they had events to attract customers to go inside. I could see an event like playing Mahjong, or Go, or some other pan-Asian game. Or maybe have a workshop on ceremonial grade matcha tea, a make-your-own Sushi-day, make a kite. Really so many options.”

Needless to say, we paid more than we were looking to spend and got way more than we wanted. Sounds crazy but there was some strange miscommunication. “Growing up, the best place to get catfish was in Terrell Oklahoma at Doug’s Peach Orchard... everyone in that area will tell you that’s the ONLY place to get catfish. Well I have officially been changed. This is the absolute best catfish! Big thick pieces of fish cooked to perfection. I was worried about the tarter sauce in the beginning because it looked like mayonnaise... well I was WRONG. Their tarter sauce is SO good! The beans were good! As well as the fried squash. You get 2 sides with the fish plates, but you HAVE TO get french fries as one of the sides. They use real potatoes and fry them up perfectly. Just needed to add your own salt, but they come out hot so that wasn’t a problem at all! We will definitely be back!”

They will actually sell you an entire bottle of wine for ~twelve dolars to have with you meal. “I was so looking forward to trying this place out with friends who had sung it's praises. We had to wait way too long for everything from being seated, to getting drinks, having our order taken, and even sonething as simple as silverware took far too long. They had plenty of staff and were not at all busy. When our food came it was dried out from sitting under the heat lamps. The manager gave us 20% off our tickets to make it right. A friend knows the owner who we saw coming back in on our way out. He seemed genuinely upset that we had a bad experience that day. I'm going to go back and give it another try. The interior is lovely, charming, and well lit with lots of interesting decor to look at. Very clean place as well as clean bathrooms. My only complaint was with the wait staff that day.”
