    I am doing a volunteer job in Durant and i was looking for a good meal after driving 12 hours in from Alabama. Well, i went on Goggle and starting reading Google Guide reviews (because I know how to avoid the nonsense ones). Here is where i came up with "The Library Grill".
    Let me say folks, it is wonderful!!
    However, a couple of things that i would address, if it were my place. One is the main chef needs to be careful with using his bare hands as he is taste testing his garlic and other things. Even though he pops them into his mouth it seems to be a way He could accidental contaminate our food (Please Chef, excuse me for noticing this. You are a talented grillman). However, a Chef needs to know what I'm eating and the only way to do that is taste it, so invent a way around the barehanded thing.
    The second matter is a personal thing of mine. Forgive a traveler this one indulgence. Please discuss personal item face to face with your patrons. Come out from behind the bar area and have your conversations in a manner that doesn't make them a public spectacle.
    You folks are kicking a 4 star, possibly better place in the middle of no where. That is SO impressive. And, forgive me Chef it is on you to bring this up to an Eagle or Double Eagle place.
    Thank you for reading this review. I was very satisfied with my meal. The steak was a perfect medium rare. The asparagus was hot, well cook but still firm. Nice job Chef. The owner and bar staff are amazingly friendly and congenial.
    Do yourself a favor and visit this place and enjoy the food, the wine, and the ambiance.
    You WILL NOT be disappointed!!

    Red sea bass was excellent, the duck was cooked to perfection and the bread pudding is omg!!!! Good

    A hidden gem in Sherman. This is an unassuming little place. Super friendly staff. Usually pretty busy so I would recommend reservations. Everything I have had there is equal to or better than a big metroplex steakhouse.

    Been a fan of The Library Grill for years. Hands down the best place in Sherman to get a steak. Try adding the blue cheese topper on your steak!
    Crab cakes are out of this world! Friendly staff as always.
