“They have good food if your in the mood for breakfast, but if they are busy they might take a while. They have pretty good service when they aren't busy. So if you are very impatient and there are a bunch of cars there, don't go. The only tip about the food I have for you is if your going for the first time is I don't recommend getting the cupcake pancake, unless you like a bunch of sugar. All it has is the pancake, whip cream, icing, sprinkles, and syrup if you like it on pancakes.”

Great Music. 2, opinions from my review would be my girlfriend the pinion on the food was that it was all too salty but she usually says that about everything so yeah but on the other hand my opinion of the food I got the whiskey bacon burger and we got spinach and artichoke dip and that spinach artichoke dip was by far the best dip I've had at a restaurant in quite some time so I would definitely recommend trying the spinach artichoke dip if you go I think the food was perfectly fine had a great time and had a great waitress”

“The food was really good and everyone was happy with their meal. The only criticism was there was loud foul mouth drunks near our table! My wife pointed out that we were near the bar and maybe we should have taken a table in the back of place! The server was top notch and very friendly! Our drinks never got below half. Seems like a great place to eat, but sit in the back unless you want to be close to the bar and get rowdy!”

“Sometimes it's a hit and miss with this place. Some days your food is super good and other times it's like,"where is the rest of it?" I had a catfish sandwich one time and it looked as if it was a leftover piece of fish that made a desperate attempt to flee. Our chicken fried steak had no gravy and the okra was shriveled, like it had been sitting awhile. Other times the food is good. I am however happy this place is still open. Last time I ate there was when I was a child. It sure brings back memories. Now my child has had the experience of eating at Grandy's. :) There is room for improvement.”

“Don't let the outside or the fact that it's a truck stop fool you. This pace has quality food. I've only had breakfast so far but it was outstanding. I had the biscuits and gravy meal. The gravy was great. They even went the extra step to slice the biscuits in half and put gravy inside then put a good portion of gravy on top. The eggs were cooked well. The potatoes were really good. My wife had the French toast and it was ridiculously good. The house made batter was delicious. The French toast butter that was a mix of butter, sugar and lemon was a unexpected delight. We will definitely be going back for lunch. Update. We went back for lunch. We weren't disappointed. The catfish and chicken fried steak were really good. Update again. Went back for breakfast. My wife had the French toast again. I got the breakfast quesadilla and a mocha. Both were really good.”

My husband and I were on a trip to our new home in Sherwood Shores and decided to stop here for breakfast. After eating here, we decided this is going to be our new place for great food! I ordered the French toast with a side of fried potatoes. Both were outstanding! There was a lemon butter to put on the French toast and it really pulled the meal together. My husband had the biscuits and gravy and was really impressed. I'll definitely be back for lunch or dinner and would like to try a cappuccino or latte. Try this off the beaten path eatery.
