From the moment I walked in the door, the very first day, I felt like I was home. The owners are the nicest people you'll ever meet. The selection of RPG, CCG, and board games is impressive. They have events going on most every night of the week, so it's easy to find people to play these games with. Family owned and operated, they'll make you feel like family, and every night is family game night.

Our company really enjoys game night at dragons nest. It’s by far one of the best experiences we’ve had in east Texas. They provide great service and many game options from one to one to team work. I really look forward to the coming by to the new location for date night soon!

This is hands down one of the coolest places in Kilgore. It sort of looks like a house so it's hard to miss but there's a sign outside if you pay attention. They have more board games in here than I ever knew existed. The community atmosphere is great as well and there's always someone willing to help you learn something new. The Dragon Room is sick if you're into D&D and there's never a shortage of Magic players in the side room. Thursday is one of the best nights to stop by in my opinion.

Best Board game/DnD/Card Shop in all of East Texas!!

Recently started getting into Pokemon. They weren't sure how much of an audience they would have, but as I started frequenting more they expanded. Incredibly nice employees that are knowledgeable and friendly. Awesome store!

I passed by this place for about a year. I thought it was some form of metaphysical oriented business, and I was wrong.

About a week ago, I walked in the door because another local denizen advised me to check it out.

Moving in from the midday Spring sun, a veritable visual cacophony assaulted my senses. A cornucopia of gaming gear and supplies lines almost every nook and cranny. Any spot without merchandise is either in-store play area or suffused with fantasy themed murals. Life-size models of a goblin stand guard strangely remind me of foo dogs.

As best I could ascertain, the public area of this business consists of five rooms. The room immediately through the door contains merchandise and a checkout counter. Two of the other rooms rooms have in-store play areas as a central element. The fourth, medieval fantasy themed, room contains specialized furniture for a tabletop role-playing game. This business has a single public bathroom.

Though I'm a little dated to be an expert anymore, the prices seem reasonably low--reminiscent of Greenland Cards & Comics in Lufkin back in the 90's.

    Drinks and snacks available.
