Food was good. No warning about jalapeños being served with the sour cream sauce, but to be fair, I didnt scour the menu looking for it. Service could use a little help. The server was friendly, but she forgot about us and we sat at an unbussed table for over 20 minutes before we got up to get our checks at the counter.
My meal was the enchilada special and was only $6 so not bad for the price. Would go again if others invited me, but would not seek it out.
Stopped by here recently with a couple of friends and truly enjoyed a late lunch. We sampled chimichangas, tacos, enchiladas and burritos. Very tasty and great tasting Mexican food. My favorite were the tacos pastor and burritos-Marias. Too bad i am not from here, but it was a great lunch with great food.
Just ate at this place. Must say the meat in the puffy taco was amazing. The beans and rice were seasoned well. The fajita portion was a little small but probably was the lunch portion. Great lemonade and their water is clear. I tell you drinks are just as important as good. Hot sauce has a great fresh taste and the tortillas were not too thick or thin. Overall really great food.
This is the cleanest restaurant. The food?? FANTASTIC. If you are in the Kilgore area be sure to try it. The best in the area as far as I'm concerned.
Went in for lunch, ordered a street taco dinner. The beans and rice were excellent. The rice was seasoned to perfection. The beef for the tacos however, was over cooked and unseasoned. Once I put salt on the remaining tacos the taste was much better. Wait staff was good and service was relatively fast. (~12min from order to food at table). Sadly, I was expecting more overall.
