Luby's

Luby's has always been one of my family favorites. From the time you come through the front door you just feel comfortable... I always enjoy their liver & onions. So few places serve this anymore and Luby's in one of the best. Whatever it is your looking for in a home cooked kind of meal they can probably fix you up. It's cafeteria style dining where you can pick out your selections and they serve you. They have a small plate with half portion entree and two sides called a "LuAnn"... And of course a combo plate that's full portions. Just depends on your appetite. The desserts are delicious. Don't leave without one.???? This restaurant is always clean. Eaten here several times. Mostly good food, always great service.
Also, always cold mashed potatoes. I just get something else instead of those, and come away happy and full.

Everything is still good, except the mashed potatoes are still cold. Our waitress took mine and heated them up to the perfect temperature.

Luby's has good food. But they were running out of food and utensils. And they know that Thursdays is one of there days that people are going to come in with the Luann Plates being on sale. I feel that they should be more equipped on the days you know that you are going to be packed. And normally that's on Sundays and Thursdays. Thank You For Listen ????

The lady in the salad area was smiling and so very friendly! She loved life and was thankful for her job! Made me happy to be there and I hadn't even taken a bite! Employees like this are hard to find! She is a real true gem! I wish I would have gotten her name. She needs recognition from your company!!!
