I love Whataburger in general. This place can't get their Dr pepper machine right. If you want just a drink try the convenience store next to it.
Food is normally good but be prepared for your order to NEVER be correct. Employees are polite but always seem to be short staffed. If you don't have time to drive in to Longview, it'll do, but just barely.
I love Whataburger. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, it really doesn't matter. Their food is delicious. It takes a little longer usually and it's more expensive than some of the others, but it's worth it in my opinion.
The definition of Three Stars is "it's okay", which is the best way to sum up this Whataburger. It's typical Whataburger food, with the exhausting wait times we've all come to expect. Somehow, it takes 10+ minutes to cook a beef patty that's paper-thin. Maybe it's fresh, maybe it's frozen. Either way, don't expect to have it out anytime soon.
The quality is decent enough. With more and more places to get a burger at a similar price point, it's harder to justify the fast food quality and sit-down cost of Whataburger.
Regardless, the spicy ketchup makes it worthwhile, even if it's a 50/50 shot on if your fries will be fresh a crispy or cold and soggy.
When it's good, it's good, but it's far too inconsistent to ever call great.
