Great motorcycle hangout. Fun ride in the country to get there. Love their burgers.

After a long motorcycle ride in the Texas heat, Yankees Tavern is an oasis of cold drinks and good eats. Sit down on the outdoor picnic tables and chat with local fishermen (Gibson reservoir is nearby), local tourists, and fellow bikers on every imaginable make/model. The beer is cold, the burgers are finger licking good and the faces are friendly. Service is fast, prices are affordable.

Really nice place... my burger was great, my hubby and son loved the wings. We are really glad we stopped in! Staff and other customers were all very friendly.

Made a lunch stop here well on a motorcycle ride with my friend. Had the Chicken Fried Steak Sandwich on Texas toast, and our server said that's the best way to have it out of the three choices. I couldn't have agreed with her more after that first bite. It was my friend's first time there, and he got the Chicken Fried Chicken plate. What amazing food from a well-known Cafe in the middle of almost nowhere out in the country, which is the perfect place to be for this place. Been there many times before, have had many items on the menu. Prices are good, and the food is even better. It's no wonder this place is always packed on the weekends with mostly bikers coming in for lunch. Looking forward to going riding out there again, and look forward to stopping in there again for lunch.

I love going to this place. The food is very good. The best stuffed potatoes you can get anywhere....Their burgers are incredible and the beer always cold.

The best part of Yankees is the service. The cooks and the waitstaff are always friendly and fast.
