Good home cooking type food. Best hamburgers ever - no secret sauce or gourmet embellishments- just a great “old fashion" hamburger. Never had a bad meal - the pies are delicious. Service very good.
Food is Tasty, Not to bad. Only thing, is there is a Girl who works there, that need to tie her hair up.
Always down few times I've been and Flying around.
Had a Long hair in my Water cup.
saw another on a Table.
If you like home cooked meals, this is a great place to go. Large selection on menu and food was good. Service was good. Atmosphere was pretty cool. If your in Marion, check it out.
Great food. Great service as always. Great location on Hwy 78. Always full even though in a small town. Only issue seem to have is with desserts. They offer some of the best tasting cakes and pies. However they're constantly out. I don't mean they run out late evening on popular desserts. I mean it can be afternoon and they're out of certain flavors. However they'll still list them as available on that days dessert listings. You literally have to ask before you order your main meal if they have the dessert you want. Half the dessert menu will likely be unavailable if ordering after 5pm.
This is a great place for comfort food/homestyle cooking. It’s clean and is decked out with Texas decor - I dig that.
The service was a little slow getting started with the menus and drink orders, but then things picked up.
Grilled chicken breast was really good and not dry. The bacon cheeseburger was good but they charge extra for the cheese (.59) and the bacon ($1.49).
The fries were good at first, but the more I ate, the more they started to taste like catfish. I suspect they’re fried in the same oil as the catfish. I’m sure this is the norm at most places, but you could really taste it here.
Despite the issue with the fries, I’m keeping this one on my “go to” list. The rest of the menu looks so good!
Plenty of parking, easy to get in and out of.
