Sal-o-Mon Family Restaurant

We happened upon this unsuspecting gem and had such a pleasant surprise! The service was above and beyond. They kept my kids laughing and made kid dishes exactly how my kids requested. Both of my kids requested more! I ordered the shrimp and it was spectacular. We will definitely visit this restaurant again and would absolutely recommend it to others.

This place is phenomenal. A relatively new, local, family-owned establishment that offers delicious, savory, authentic Mexican cuisine. This is not Tex-Mex. This is legitimate Mexican cuisine. Everything is made fresh when you order. Everything! Even the tortillas are made after you order. This is a great place for gluten-free options, vegan options, but especially for just absolutely fabulous tasting food options. Ceviche, pastor, prime rib, asada, pork belly, etc. A variety that all has one thing in common - GREAT TASTE! I hope you'll give this dining establishment a try and help them grow. Your taste buds will be rewarded.

Finally stopped in at Sal-o-Mon. So glad I did. Hidden gem in my opinion. Ceviche is super flavorful (both the salmon with Mango and the shrimp). Had the asada. Super tender and juicy. Good portions for me. Sweet Tea Texas style to top it off. Lots of wine options; although I know nothing about wine. Check the board within the restaurant for the day's special. Sweet Potato and Maple cheesecake for dessert.

I’m from out of town. Found the reviews online and had a Lyft take me straight here from the airport. It was well worth it. Oh my. The shrimp dinner is off the hook!! I could eat this every single day. Super nice people here too. Sad I can’t order this dish near where I live.
