    This place never fails to disappoint! Brisket (especially the fatty) is spot on, and this is coming from a boy from Lockhart. Manager Chris takes proper pride in his kitchen...it's clean and efficient. Great service, too. Just bring you're out of town guests, and they are sure to be impressed. We do lots of work events catered...super easy and always good. If you want it a certain way, they'll make it happen. Smoked turkey and chickens are great for a family night. Their ribs have gotten really good, as well. Great lunch is the baked potato covered in chopped brisket. And don't forget their great selection of local beers on tap. For Lent, you gotta try they're smoked whole salmon filets! All with a side of those brisket beans...

    Had a lunch event catered for 20 people by True Texas. It was on time and tasted great. Food was excellent, the beans had a ton of brisket in them. Cant wait to go back at night and have a craft beer with dinner.

    We hesitantly order the sliced brisket, fearing that maybe the meat could be tough. But to our surprise the brisket was so tasty and it literally melted in your mouth !The buns were warm and so soft!
    Pickle and onions were fresh, krispy that added the final touch, to bring it all together for a very mouth watering experience!
    Even took a couple of sandwiches home. Service was also great !!

    Yes, it is in HEB, but The food is GREAT! The brisket is tender and Smokey, and those contribute to die for. I love The stuffed baked potatoes.
