“I stop by here for gas a few times a week on my way back and forth to and from Amarillo. This is the only station with 87 octane from Plainview to Amarillo that I can use the Phillips 66 app to pay with. All the other stations have 86 octane for the same price or more. The restrooms inside are clean and there are plenty of snacks and drinks to keep me awake on long drives.”

“This was our first time visiting the Cotton Patch Cafe in Plainview, Texas. The place has a nice, laid-back ambiance to it. The decor is nothing fancy, just comfortable. The wait staff are friendly and competent. We were greeted and seated right away. The prices weren't cheap, but they weren't outlandish, either. The only complaint that I have is about the meal itself. My wife and I both ordered a BLT with fries. The taste of the sandwiches was good, but the bacon was tough as shoe leather. My thinking is that a BLT sandwich is not easy to mess up, but... Although we were both disappointed by the tough bacon in our BLT's, my wife and I would be willing to give the Cotton Patch another try someday.”

“Church's has been here for several months. I've been by several times since it opened. My meal is usually warm and fresh when I receive it. The food isn't spectacular, but it's good. The honey biscuits are amazing. The staff has been well-mannered to me. However, nearly every time I go, they drag their feet on everything. Twice I have driven off because nobody would acknowledge I approached the the drive thru despite sitting there for over fifteen minutes. Multiple times, it has taken staff a longish amount of time to ask for my order. Sometimes the speaker was not loud enough and I have to figure out by context what they're saying. Every time I've had to sit and wait at least ten minutes to receive my order. I take meals at odd times because my work schedule demands it. The place is not busy when I get there. I am usually the only or one of two cars there. I do not understand why service is so consistently slow. It is an otherwise okay restaurant that I don't mind taking my business to. The management there really should step up their game and train employees to be timely in their work.”

“This is quite a tough review because it's a great place to have fun but the food I had TODAY wasn't on point. We've been to Royal splash a few times. This is my first review of this establishment. We first came so that our children could swin in the lazy river. If I were the owner I'd actually raise the price, not bad for $14 per person, but today was actually $6. No complaints here. Afterwards we decided to stay for dinner. We began with appetizers. We ordered cheese sticks and bacon and cheese fries. The bacon on the bcf is cooked and chopped up into small bacon bits. There wasn't much bacon, as the picture depicted, but it could've definitely used more considering the ratio of cheese to fries. All in all the appetizers were good, I'd give it a 6.9 on a scale from 1-10. For the main entree my wife ordered the bbq buffet. She is picky about her food and said the brisket tasted as though it was cooked in a crock pot. I did try it and it was not very good. I'd give it a 4 imo. She did say she loved the pulled pork and the sausage. I did have a bite of the pulled pork and it was great, 7.4. My son had the chicken nuggets and fries. He didn't quite like the chicken nuggets. They were a bit dry. 6.9. Me and my daughter shared a large pizza, 1/2 pepperoni 1/2 hamburger. The pie looked delicious when it was brought to the table causing my mouth to water. Disappointed. Not much sauce in the pizza, and in my opinion, it had too much bread. I only ate one slice. There were a couple bites here and there that I could taste the sauce, which was great. I told my wife about it and she thought I was being dramatic so she had a bite. She thought it was bland. It almost tasted like Little Caesar's Pizza. I'd rate it at about a 5. My daughter agreed with me. I've had other appetizers and entrees before but can't remember because it was a long time ago and it wouldn't be fair to rate it now. I will say I know I wasn't disappointed the last time I ate here. I would reccomend this place due to the fun atmosphere.”

“I was a bit hesitant when we walked in the door. The place is a bit worn and needs a little updating. We went ahead and ordered some food. We ordered a burger, some buffalo wings, jalapeño poppers and the catfish and shrimp basket. Every thing was great. The food came out hot and had decent portions. The staff was super friendly. This is definitely a place where locals hang out. We were entertained by a local that performed an impromptu karaoke session. I would definitely go back.”

“Update on my review: I hadn’t tried it since eating there my last review and went again for lunch today. Food was better cooked the rice had the flavor they were previously missing. I think my new rating for them is a 5. If you compare to hibachi express which is more along the same lines of what is provided here I think it’s safe to say they are exceeding those standards. Went and tried it out I’d give it 3.75 stars. I’ve been to a lot of hibachi places and have had an $80 plate of hibachi and an $11 plate. It taste about what $14 worth of hibachi should be. We were spoiled by the last cooks at the previous location that would pile the rice on our plate. The meat needs to be seared on the grill and put egg back in the rice and onions in the vegetables other than that it’s decent. I’ll probably buy there again and with new cooks hopefully they’ll keep improving and I can turn this into a 5 star review.”

She took my drink order, asked for sweet tea they only have unsweetened it was fine added Sweetener to my liking . She told of the items not on the menu,I picked beef fajitas. I made the right choice, I have tried the fajitas at 3 other places in town not impressed, but here the fajitas are good, not to thinly sliced not over covered in veggies, just the right amount,the rice and beans are also good. That being said, if it's variety you want, Caesar's is going to disappoint. Still, at the risk of sounding like a scratched record - for those too young to know what a scratched record does: the needle gets stuck in a deep scratch causing it to repeat the same part/lyric over & over - where it regards pizza, Caesar's is the best value hands down.”
