Another beautiful day at the Flying Field

I am new to RC flight as of December, 2017, which is about 5 months.

I went to the AMA website and started looking for a place to fly, and found this club because it is the closest to my home. I met a few of the guys, and joined up.

After 5 months of active flying, and visiting many other airfields, I still have to say this is an excellent club. There is no utility power, but there is usually someone with a generator, or you can bring your own. Nobody sneezes at the fact that I am a helicopter pilot while everyone else flies planes. Some of my heli friends have said that some clubs don't like them flying at their field, but I have never experienced that here.

The members are friendly. Many of them have offered help, advice, spare parts or supplies, have let me use their generators, let me fly their planes, etc... and I have never felt more welcome anywhere.

It is worth mentioning that I see people of all races and ages at the field, which for me is a huge plus.
