Frio Grill

We brought some of our baseball team in at about 2:00 on a Sunday, April 14, 2009. From the minute we walked in, we were treated like they weren't interested in our business. Clearly, it was a busy time for them, but the way that they were communicating with us seemed awfully unprofessional. First, we were told we wouldn't be able to be seated. Upon instantly noticing many tables were free, we were seated, but then told it would be at least 30 minutes until we would be allowed to order because the kitchen was backed up. Finally - and this was the behavior that drove us to get up and leave - we have a manager (I presume) come behind our waitress and seem quite annoyed about how we would have to split up checks. To be fair, the waitress herself was quite polite. So, off-putting demeanor from the management, confusion, and an inability to effectively (and politely) communicate the issues at hand from the get-go will earn this place 3 out of 5 stars, for now. I'll give it another shot when they are less busy or when we have a smaller party.

The atmosphere is great. Nice restaurant out in the country but right if the highway also. The food was excellent and there are so many great choices on the menu. The service and smiling faces ous the best. Ask for Will. Great waiter. You must try this place.

This place was great! Food was yummy, they have a big selection of beer, and its family friendly. They have games outside where the family can hang out n enjoy beautiful weather

Love this place. Great food. Great atmosphere. Lots of things for the kids to do while you enjoy a sneak and drinks outside.

My food was pretty good (burger was well cooked and green chili cheese grits were amazing) but our waitress was our of this world! Layla made the night the best I've had in a while. The cold craft beer helped, too.
