This was my first time coming to Jaxton’s for my friend’s birthday and we were very excited to finally get a chance to come dine. Everyone absolutely loved their orders. You know the food is good when a group of women celebrating a birthday are silent lol. And our waiter Adam was the absolute cherry on top. There was an incident that occurred that really almost ruined the whole experience, but when we brought it to the manager Amy’s attention she went above and beyond to ensure we left happy. We left so happy that half of us returned within the same week. Thank you Adam and Amy for making our experience a memorable and pleasant one!
The service was not very good. The bartender that waited on us was not very attentive which was even more annoying because it was only a total of 3 groups in the restaurant and the other 2 groups had a different waiter. My husband and I came after sampling the food at another event in River Oaks that was really good. The food was decent but a little over priced. The mimosa bar was actually a nice addition which would have been nice if someone would have explained how the set- up worked since it was out first visit. The brunch menu is limited. We started to leave but wanted to give it a try and support this new establishment. Apparently we were not the only ones thinking that because 2 other couples left after glancing over the Brunch menu. I will definitely give them another try but not during brunch.
Made reservations as we had a good time 3 years ago, was not the same as then. Way to brite, as in lights were turned up. No coat service, so if you get stuck in a booth... the meal was alright, tasted well. It seems the menu has changed since our last visit. The waitress was very nice and her service was great. The hostess on the other hand not so much. The bathrooms were clean, yet no hand towels??? And we were one of the first families there. Might be better for lunch, yet not so much for a Dinner date!
