The concept of the restaurant is something I have not seen before. It combines loud old school rock music along with lights and TVs playing old rock videos with sushi.
I found the restaurant clean, but the music was a little too loud. They turned it down after a little bit, so I think they are still ironing things out as it was a new place.
The food is good, but not spectacular. Prices were reasonable and portion sizes were good. If I had to knock anything, it would be the service. The server was eager to help when we sat down, but once we got our food, she was pretty much gone. We need drink refills and she was nowhere to flag down. I will note that another server saw our empty cups and asked if we needed refills and she got them for us.
All in all, I think if I would go back, I would give it some time to iron out all the kinks.
Awesome space and good vibes! The server, Andrea, was super sweet and helpful. The menu is rock’n’roll themed and Andrea pointed out the classics and favorites. It’s big enough to not be crowded but small enough to not get ignored lol
Definitely a rock n rolled themed restaurant from the decor, lights, music and menus. The service was great the food was ok. We really weren’t that excited about all the deep fried and cream cheese in the majority of the menu items. It was as if Sushi had a makeover by a Southern kitchen! If you are craving a fresh and light meal this would not be the place for you. The dessert options say it all Fried Brownie or Fried Cheesecake!
Really great food, and a really enjoyable atmosphere. Classic rock at just the right level to still allow easy conversation, comfortable booths, slick decor (gator skin textured wallpaper!), and some very friendly waitstaff.
I had the hibachi chicken, and my partner got the shrimp tempura roll, and both were excellent.
The manager (I assume that's his role) stopped by to chat after our meal, and he was super nice. He also explained that they're apparently going to be expanding and adding a patio and all kinds of cool stuff, as well as extending their hours (to midnight on the weekends!). I'm definitely looking forward to experiencing it when it's ready!
