Taco Fuego has amazing food at a reasonable price.
My first impression walking in is a great impression. I love when restaurants have a certain atmosphere they are trying to convey instead of the typical dining vibe, and the bright red neon lights and dark interior gave me a fiery devil kind of vibe. A simple touch that goes a long way. The final thing to mention about the atmosphere was that the bathrooms were nice and clean. We were greeted as we entered by a kind worker (I never caught his name) we ordered a birria crunch wrap, which was enough for both of us. For reference, we are guys in our 20’s who have just played tennis for ~1.5 hours, so we were pretty hungry. We also ordered a side of fries and waited for our food to arrive, which didn’t take long.
The birria crunch wrap was amazing (9/10). The flavors were all there, distinct yet complementing each other very well. The texture was even better. The outer wrap was nice and soft, the birria meat gave a nice chewy texture, and there was a corn tortilla on the inside crispy to perfection and gave a nice crunch. I almost wished the wrap was smaller just because I would have loved to try other things they had on the menu, but it easily gets me recommendation.
The fries were also well made (7/10). They were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. There was also some seasoning I could see on the fries, but I couldn’t taste much of it as the fries were lacking in salt, which was my only criticism. Accompanying the wrap and fries were two sauces: a white sauce and a thousand island-looking sauce. The white sauce was ok- it was pretty runny and had a sweeter, cooling effect and probably had some dairy. The other sauce tasted excellent, yet it was too thick for me to put it into my wrap though I enjoyed the sauce with my fries.
Overall, I would highly recommend this place to anyone eager to try a Mexican restaurant - especially if they want halal.

This place came highly recommended, the fries are exceptional! I expected more, maybe I came at an off time. But I’ll try them again if I’m in the area and in the mood.
This place makes delicious food! I got the birria crunch wrap, the elites, and my husband got the floutas. The serving sizes are huge as well. 10/10 recommend and we will be back!
New favorite restaurant! 🤩 The fuego fries, street corn, and birria tacos with consume were all 11/10, and the (Thursday) manager on duty was amazing. Seriously can't wait to go back with our whole family.
Mike greeted us very friendly and the atmosphere was very welcoming. Try the birria pupusa with the green sauce. Their quesabirrias are my favorite. I tried their birria tamale and it tastes good and was filling. To drink try their delicious pineapple agua fresca.
