Spud Shack

This was our first time ever trying spud shack (Deer Park location) we walk in, it’s clean no busy at all walk up to the counter the girl wasn’t the friendliest had a mean face and kinda seemed annoyed but we have had worse customer service in the past. The wait for the food was not that long but we are pretty patient people to begin with. The food was AWESOME we got the budan balls which were super good, bacon ranch potato and the brisket potato all were super good. I rated this place 4 stars only because the service needs some more work but after that it will be perfect.

The salad bar was fresh & had a big selection. I ordered the plain Jane potato & it was so big I couldn’t finish it. My husband had the fried fish & shrimp I wasn’t a fan of it. They could do better on that. Stick with the potatoes. I would come back & try other things on the menu.

Service was good. Food was good (I got the Texan Potato). Nothing to complain about. If you like potatoes I would definitely give this place a try.

If you are looking for something other than the same ol’ Mexican food, fast food or bbq…give this place a try. They have a wide variety of items on their menu and a 12ft long salad bar.

I ordered a few different types of potatoes and a few sandwiches for some friends and I. We all tried them and agreed that this well worth it. The price and the quantity you get is well worth the visit.

So when you are in the area looking for something different, then stop on by and give them a try. I will say though, this is a new establishment, so if something is wrong just talk to them and ask them to correct it. They are very easy going and you can tell they have the determination to make customer service their top priority. If they do not know about an issue until late after the fact they cannot have the opportunity to make it right.

Atmosphere was great, service was very friendly! My husband really liked his potato. I only give 3 stars because I asked for no sour cream and BBQ sauce on my potato and when we got home both were on it. It was slightly frustrating, when the cashier had read my order back with the changes. Service was slow, with some party’s food coming out long before the others at the same table. I’m hoping it’s working out the kinks of just opening and the kitchen running smooth, we will definitely try again another time!
