Great tucked away gem near Boondoggle's. Excellent wine selection, plus good draft beer. Great desserts, plus a wonderful Chateaubriand available on Sundays and special occasions. Specials throughout the week. It's a great place to have a conversation with a friend, surrounded by books and antiques.

been to several wine bars in the area. Out of all of them, I wanted to spend my birthday here.
Great ambiance, excellent wine menu and above all the staff is always pleasant.
Next time I go, I wanna try their carrot cake! I’ve heard it’s to die for!

Chelsea Wine Bar is absolutely stunning! As soon as you walk in you're greeted by smiling faces, ambient lighting and music. The wine selection is huge, and everyone is extremely helpful!

This is a great place to hang out and have a drink. They have a decent selection of craft beers, wine, and mixed drinks. They have the normal tables, chairs but also comfortable couches for some serious slouching. On weekends there is live music downstairs that isn't too loud but definitely requires a raised voice to talk with your friends. The deck upstairs has a nice view of the water and the Clear Lake shore along NASA Parkway.

I can't review the wine or food or service because we left after walking in and looking around. Honestly it's a really nice looking place and I liked all the wood and lights but it was dead quiet on a Saturday evening. There were people there but no music playing in the background. I was hoping for a romantic night out with my husband, but it was more like a bunch of people at tables talking loudly and that's it. From what I understand there should be live music later on at night? Well I don't want to wait hours for that and I think they should at least play background music while people wait for the live music. Pretty disappointing in that aspect as I was really excited to try this place. Plus, the set up when you first walk in was awkward. There was a huge table and a small table next to it. You sit down and then have someone else right in your face. Downstairs all the tables were taken and upstairs they had a nice room with couches but it was pretty empty and quiet so I might as well save my money at this point and go sit on my own couch at home and play music. Hopefully my suggestion is taken into consideration. We will give it a try another time and I will update my review then.
