This was my first time at the Swamp Shack and it was fabulously fantastic. I loved the decor and the food was AMAZING and my server was awesomely awesome and was very attentive. I especially loved the chicken and sausage gumbo. I will most certainly be going back.
It was very good. We got one of the pots, my wife and I. There was more than enough for the both of us. We brought most of it home for leftovers. My kids loved playing with the iPads and checking out the alligators.
I really enjoyed it. We went with some friends and we all thought it was good. The waitress was very pleasant and had a great smile while she served us. Loved the gator!
Awesome food! Friday evening but still quickly seated, greeted and cocktail selection discussed and ordered. Service was excellent. Ordered Cancun chicken and it was really, really good!
Dirty rice is spicey and delicious! Veggies needed a little more seasoning, but was nice as a counter balance.
Asst. Manager checked by several times to make sure everything was to our liking. Appreciate that management is continually checking! By the way, the hush puppies have a kick, yummy!!
Will be back soon!
The food was amazing! The G-Style seafood pot is DEFINITELY recommended. The service however, unfortunately leaves something to be desired. The reason given by our server was because of a shift change and had too many tables on the opposite side of the restaurant. So we only saw him 4 times, and 2 of those times was the pay the check and get my card and receipt. The table behind us, they were also upset, but for unknown reasons as they had already been there before us. So the kinks still need to be worked out. I would definitely go back, but maybe later down the line when it’s been open longer. My experience, of course is my own and yours may be completely different, and I would very much hope it would be. But the food certainly made up for most of the rest of the visit.
