Just Oxtails Soul Food

Ordered our food to go. It's pretty much cafeteria line atmosphere. The service was good. The food was well seasoned and the portion size was worth the price. We will definitely be back.

Good soul food!! The oxtails were falling off the bone, the gravy tasted like someone granny made it and the banana pudding had BANANAS AND COOKIES in it!! Mouth watering just leaving this review.

Food is always amazing here...well seasoned, fresh and piping hot! Service is always friendly and attentive. One of my favorite spots to pick up a quick bite on my way to work.

Outside looks good. Inside is good and i like the friendly welcome we got for our first time. We had Smothered Porkchops, BBQ Chicken, Salisbury Steak and Ox Tails. EVERYTHING was so good all the meat just falls off the bone. Seasoning is great! We will be back!

Let me start off by saying I do not eat soul food, tried them nonetheless because Door Dash delivers them.

I opened the box and there it was; oxtails, gravy, greens, yams and a sweet corn muffin. Tasted the gravy. Immediately grabbed my headphones a water and my bus pass.

Gave this meal a smooth jazz soundtrack and rode the bus around the city while I ate what is probably the best meal since relocating to Houston in December. Will continue to eat here as long as the food & customer service stays good.
