Great burgers! Place is very old school and fun. Loved the Texas Toothpicks.
The food was great it was a blast to the past for me my dad took me there as a kid. Great to see the community keep it up!
Always enjoy this place. We tried the new texas treasure chest basket of fish, shrimp, FF/2 OR, Tx toast. Not bad for the price but the fish/shrimp size are too small. The "basket" was not a basket at all in my opinion but a container normally for FF. Long John Silvers is better bargain and flavor.
Unique old time vibe restaurant. The booths in the joint were small but probably original from when the place opened in 1967. People were smaller then.
I ordered the bacon burger with fries and a drink. I was given a playing card as my order number. This was a fun touch.
The burger was a thin pressed patty and had average flavor. The fries were small but tasted good.
The price was about $9.
I would go again if someone wanted to, but it will not be a normal stop in my rotation.
So good. Everything thing was hot & fresh. Staff was really nice. Definitely will go back....
