The restaurant has a good location with lots of parking. Ambient great. The food and service were great. The lobster bisque to thin and salty. Other than that we had a great time
First tip: make a reservation.
Second: not for wimps, be prepared to feast.
Third: bring you're A game. You must stay on your feet to keep up with the quick paced wait staff.
It'll cost $50 a person, but basically a buffet.
The salad bar is to die for. I don't eat pork and this candied apple bacon could lead Jewish people to sin. It is not your typical salad bar, the items are really quality and special.
But, don't get filled up here.
Wait for the meat.
Flip the little card on the table and wait for the waiters to start racing in.
For first timers, use the buddy system until you feel prepared.
Try them all, the slices they give you are small enough to not feel too guilty if you don't like it.
But, I hate waste, which is why I used a buddy.
The hardest part for me was remembering what cut of meat was what.
After a few rough spots, it was overall amazing.
The birthday cake at the table next to us looked amazing.
Which reminds me, count me there in June for my b-day.
This place is awesome! You like huge salad bars with tons of variety? They have that. You like grilled meats and consider the outside crust the best part? That's their specialty. Like fancy drinks? They got that. How about highly attentive wait staff who will make sure you get that you want? Yep, they have that too. $50 a head can be a little pricey, but it's completely worth it.
Service is decent, a little slow and I'm not entirely sure I have any idea who my waiter actually was. The steaks were all really good. Many of these Brazilian steakhouse the meat can be somewhat dry but I can't complain about anything I had. The bacon was really good and I don't even care about fruit but the pineapple they bring out.... You have to try that it's amazing and again I am never interested in any fruit.
One of our favorite places to eat steak in the Houston area, been to Gauchos Do Sul a few times and have never been disappointed.
We were there last night with a group of friends and management was very kind to allows reserve the wine room for our reunion. Melanie was our server and she was very attentive to every single detail, we didn't had to wait for a drink, a side dish, a clean plate as many times as needed, a kind suggestion... she was very knowledgeable on the alcoholic drinks menu, overall she was the kind of person that makes you feel welcome, you can tell she loves her job. Both managers were also very attentive to our group coming to our table a few times to make sure we were being well attended, one of them even had the detail of bring a plate with appetizers to our table while we were waiting on the rest of our party to arrive.
Thank you all!!
