Nu Cafe

The people are polite. Not the best customer service but certainly a good experience. And the drinks are phenomenal. I still love the one with Italian soda (I forgot the name). I recommend this place. 5/5

Among all of the dessert restaurants at Dun Huang Plaza, I chose 新天地 Nu Cafe. I like its consistency with shaved ice cream's quality and refreshing flavors. Whenever I bring my meetup friends after dinner nearby, the staff never get flustered with indecisive customers. Unlike other Chinese restaurants, they are always courteous.

Sometimes it get really busy on weekend nights, the tables are full. We usually walk around the mall for 20 minutes, few tables could become available for us to sit down. Customers are fairly nice too.

My favor part of eating at Nu Cafe is to share this delicious mounts of shaved ice cream. It's a perfect sharable dish for those don't want to indulge entire plate. It usually end up as a sample before my guests order for themselves.

A little over priced for the basic drinks and ice cream you can have in the same area for cheaper. The place has enough seating accommodations for small or large groups. The shaved ice portions are big so 2 can share one. The staff is nice and helpful.

Shaved ice cream is my favorite thing here. It's a mound of wonderfully thin, flaky, shaved ice cream that you can top worth delectable sauces, fresh fruit and more. Great little dessert shop.

If you're close by and want something sweet and cold, Nu Cafe is an option. They have been here for years but are in need of remodeling and changing what they offer for desserts. Competition has grown and yes there are better places. I give them three stars for being consistent with quality.
