Top Sushi

My wife and I enjoyed the food. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere. Our 1-year-old made it a bit noisy - sorry.

It pains me to rate this place below 4 or 5 stars but I have to do it, simply because my last visit was a disappointment. I’ve been here around 5 or 6 times and ever other time, the food & drinks were great. I also enjoy the layout & intimate feel of the place, so if my last visit was the same as every other time, I would rate 5 stars. Unfortunately, the food was under par. The quality of the food suddenly went downhill. I’m not sure if the chefs were having an off night or the owners are cutting corners by buying lower quality ingredients, but the quality was just not there that night. I heard the old chef was replaced, so that could be the reason. I will most likely give this place another chance, but for now i’m going to stay away until improvements are made on the food quality.

Edit: I did go back since posting this review and unfortunately, the quality hasn’t improved. Even worse, the portion sizes were substantially reduced. I would reduce my rating to 2 stars, but the happy hour specials prevent me from doing so.

Wow! Amazing food falls short to describe it. I’m sitting in my car driving this review because I want to do it while the explosion of flavors is fresh in my mouth. Service was outstanding, from the waiter to the chef on the back bar. Friendly, amicable, enthusiastic, dedicated, and super creative. I gave him free range for my last roll and he knocked it out of the park. From presentation to flavor... this place has few alike. Cannot wait to be back! Why no picture? Come take your own, I was too busy eating ????

5 Stars! Went there last night and definitely a great night and GREAT sushi!! I like EEL so I was recommended “Sky Diver” & Lengi? (I think that’s what it’s called) but absolutely LOVED it. The rolls came in 8 pieces each & it’s delicious! I been to so many sushi places and I must say this is one of the best ones in Houston! The interior is super pretty with lit led lights at the full bar! Plus, having fun company will only make your night better! The staff and everyone there will make you feel at home and welcomed! Our server was Queen and she was excellent! Will be coming here again!!

EDIT: I came here about a some more times again and this lady name Carol who was our server didn’t really pay attention to us while we there. It was like she kept ignoring us. The food is GREAT, one of My FAVORITE places to eat sushi, but I wish they can better their customer service and if you’re on the way to the place, at least reserve the table and the order especially if you are coming here frequently. Loyal customers are the best but not without keeping up the good service.

I love this restaurant. They have a great happy hour but no vegan options on them. The price of the Avocado Roll under the "Sushi & Sashami" section is only $1.50 per piece at regular price so that's a good trade off. I always order the avocado rolls (mentioned above) and veggie fried rice without meat or egg. The portions of rice are HUGE! It's a great date night spot or for dining with friends. I've even dined here alone. Great food. Great prices. Chill atmosphere. I love it!
