Mikki's Soulfood Cafe

Once I stepped in the door it felt like home! Everyone had smiles???? on their faces and greeted me with warmth, courtesy and professionalism. The customer service was impeccable! The food is home cooked to perfection! Thank you for an awesome Restaurant experience!

We went for the oxtails unfortunately, they would not have any until 4pm. It was three in my party and we all ended up getting different options which were all tasty. I had the Turkey wings which were delicious. Falling off the bone tender with greens and sweet potatoes seasoned well. My cousin had the meatloaf which he says was very good and his friend ordered the smothered pork chops. Everyone cleaned their plate! If you are looking for good soul food option give Mikki's a try. You won't be disappointed.

I absolutely love this place! I've had almost everything here and it has been delicious every time. Price is about average for soul food spots. The people are nice and the tables are clean. They can get very busy so get there early. On occasion they have run out of some favorites before closing. You can bring kids.

I must say after hearing all the good compliments, I had to try it out. I went Sunday 2/24/19. I was not impressed. First of all, the staff needs better customer service. I got two to go orders and it took me forever for someone to give me my banana pudding and my two sweet teas. I asked the cashier where to get my dessert and tea from, she kept saying in the front. I'm like ma'am where is the front. How about assist the customer better by giving directions instead of pointing. The chicken was big and the yams were half-cooked. I've had better soul food and better customer service elsewhere. Will not return.
