BRYANT UP IN SMOKE BBQ

I have been to a lot of bbq places in Houston, but Bryant bbq is by far the best bbq I've had since I moved to Houston.
If you like good bbq, you need to try Bryant's you will not disappointed.

I've been to many BBQ joints in Texas including Franklin's, LA BBQ, Killen's, Corkscrew, several in Lockhart and everywhere in between. Tucked away in a quaint little corner of NW Houston is Bryant Up in Smoke BBQ and they can definitely hang with the big boys. The moist brisket was perfectly done and the outside char was very flavorful. I'm usually not one to go for chicken at a BBQ joint but the smoked chicken was ridiculously good and I hope they sell it by the bird! The potato salad was great and I'm usually not a fan if it's mayo based. Also, I really enjoyed the BBQ sauce - smoky and tangy - but honestly none of the meat really needed it. Lastly, the Bryant family was welcoming and seemed to really care about the customers and their establishment. The only complaint I have was they ran out of sausage, but I will definitely be going again and I'll take a picture next time to add to my review!
