Pappas Seafood House

Pappas has been one of my favorites since I was a kid. Now me and my husband always stop here anytime we're in town or passing through! The atmosphere, the staff, the food and drinks, everything about Pappas is excellent.

Food was good, but pricing seemed high. $17 for 3 shrimp and 4 chicken tenders.... ouch. Also the hostess never even smiled or welcomed us when seating us. Two different waitresses took our drink order. The food was good, but not amazing enough for that price.

Consistent, great quality food. They can improve on service, though. I've patronized this place for many years, and I've had some interesting experiences with some of the wait staff. One waitress was so concerned about being reported, her behavior was paranoid. It totally distracted us from our dining experience! Another waiter insisted on taking a plate of food I hardly touched, threw it away, and had the kitchen cook me another entree AFTER I'd paid the bill and was ready to leave! I'm convinced he boxed the first plate for himself. Like I said...interesting! Lol!

I usually love this place but my fish was very over cooked this time. I came here with my coworkers for a Christmas party & we had a sceduled time to be here but they weren't ready. We had to wait over 30 minutes for the room to be ready. They apologize for it & i believe gave us a couple of free appetizers for it. But our waiters were marvelous & really took great care of all of us. Had a great time. Gave it a 3 star because the last time when i came with my family were seated & never got a waiter to come to us for 20 minutes. Everyone kept passing us not saying a word.

Excellent food and service. However it’s time to fix the front door. You need a double entry as well so you don’t freeze everyone out every time the door opens.

Visited again today and it was amazing
